Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business and technical requirements to define test scenarios and test cases
- Perform manual, functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
- Design, maintain, and execute automated test scripts where applicable
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect-tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues
- Validate fixes and ensure defects are properly closed
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum)
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
- Prepare test reports and provide clear status updates to stakeholders
- 5-6 experience in software testing / quality assurance
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques
- Familiarity with API testing, database testing, and basic SQL
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter)
- Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
