Roles & Responsibilities
- Represent Clinical/Patient access in understanding the broad requirements of CLIENT Clinical health information system and communicate these requirements with vendors within the strategic framework.
- Leverage knowledge of Clinical/Patient access workflows and processes in the CLIENT setting utilizing related tools.
- Coordinate and support CLIENT working group in planning, project management, and all implementation stages for the CIS.
- Coordinate and support CLIENT working group in designing, building, and testing activities of all CIS contents as part of the overall program implementation.
- Assist in planning of after Go-Live activities and optimization of the implemented system.
- Coordinate with working groups to ensure the compliance of implemented CIS solutions components with quality standards.
- Liaise the delivery of CIS along with CLIENT working groups, vendors, and HMC.
- Conducts regular day-to-day communication with vendors and working groups and work as a team to tailor content to organizational needs.
- Acts as a contact and coordinator for questions and issues that arise related to clinical/Patient access content.
- Demonstrate proactive approach to patient safety by thinking what might go wrong in all your undertakings and take necessary measures to prevent them from happening.
- Identify and report potential or actual patient safety concerns, errors and/or near misses in timely manner.
- Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols.
- Demonstrate as sense of teamwork and effective communication.
- Partner with line manager to understand risks in your area of work, develop a plan on how to mitigate those risks, and develop shared accountability for implementing and evaluating the plan.
- The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or related healthcare stream.
- Health informatics certificate. ICDL certificate or similar is preferable.
- 6 years of relevant experience. Minimum 3 years of experience implementing Clinical Information System. Previous experience with Healthcare Settings.
- Cerner background is an added advantage
