Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure Specialist/Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure across Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and on-premises environments. This includes servers, storage, and networking components.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and maintain cloud services (compute, databases, PaaS).
• Manage servers, operating systems, and virtualization.
• Deploy and configure servers/storage on-prem/Azure/GCP.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Optimize storage solutions (cloud and on-prem).
• Configure switches, routers, and basic networking.
• Maintain documentation and generate performance/security reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of servers, virtualization, and storage solutions.
• Basic networking experience (switches, routers).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, SQL, Exchange/O365.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts/on-call as required.
